The search for the perfect travel trailer may have just ended for the countless couples who are looking for their dream unit. That said, feast your eyes upon Grand Design’s 2025 Imagine 2600RB, a camper that’s being called “the BEST couple’s travel trailer under 30 feet!”
Why spend the time to see what’s in store with this one? Well, according to one YouTube channel, Matt’s RV Reviews, the 2600RB is being called the best unit for couples under 30 feet. That said, price is a huge factor in any camper acquisition, so allow me to point out that this layout does MSRP a tad higher than what most couples are looking to spend on a new unit, but at $48,837, you’re getting your hands on a unit that’s ready for year-round use. Heck, the roof alone comes in with an R-40 rating. The floor sits at R-30, and the walls and slide-out at R-7.
Now, I could sit here and bore you with a long list of details regarding this camper, but instead, I’ve chosen to invite you on a little trip that should give you a clear idea of what to expect from this layout. All that begins with you at a dealership, signing the paperwork for your unit, and driving off into the sunset.

As you do, your truck will be towing a nearly 30-foot unit that comes in with a GVWR of 7,850 lbs (3,561 kg). Oh, and all that’s set up on a two-axle chassis with electric brakes and some rather ready wheels and tires, so you’ll be able to break away from asphalt if you need to, but only light gravel or dirt roads for this one, and I mean really light.
The neat thing about this puppy, aside from its interior layout, is the fact that you can use it to break away from the grid, too; Grand Design took the time to add a few essential systems that let us tap into the power of the world around us. This means 180 W of standard solar panel power, charge controller, and batteries, not to mention 45 gals of fresh water, more than enough for two people, and there’s a reason for that.
While Matt dubs the 2600RB as the perfect couple’s unit, with an array of options from Grand Design, you can even accommodate a family of six. This is made possible with a modular dinette and tri-fold sofa, too. Park your unit, fire up the outdoor cooking station integrated into unit, activate the slide-out, and let’s hop inside.

Once we do, we’ll find ourselves in the middle of the living room, with the dinette and sofa straight ahead, kitchen and bedroom to our right, and to our left, a massive bean-to-beam bathroom that offers plenty of room to work your magic.
Since the outdoor griddle is now nice and ready for cooking, you start preparing the veggies, burger patties, and salad for the meal ahead. Heck, you may even have a tad of trouble finding everything: the number of cabinets, drawers, and overhead bins. At least the countertop will offer plenty of space to unfurl all that you need.
Fast-forward to the dinner table, you’re plopped down outside underneath the trailer’s awning and simply overlooking the sunset off in the distance. Since you chose to break away from the park life for a couple of days, the only sounds you hear are of the local fauna and cutlery against dishware.
With night falling upon your area, some of you may end up hanging around outside in the glow of a campfire, while some of our readers would retire to the interior, turn on the TV, and just lounge around, letting the digestion system work its magic. As for myself, you’ll find me lounging around in the bedroom on that queen bed. Maybe grab a book or write up another little story for you to read. Good night.

But we’re not done here. The next morning, right before the sun breaks over the horizon, you and your significant other and even your family are up and getting ready for the activities ahead. Because of the presence of a massive pass-through storage bay, you’ll be able to bring along fishing rods, inflatable kayaks, SUPs, and even some hiking gear, just to name a few. And don’t worry about cleaning up; an outdoor shower is part of the magic of an Imagine 2600RB.
Where to from here? Be sure to check out the video below, talk things over with the Mr. or Mrs., head down to a local dealership, and see one of these babies in person. Just be sure to have the bucks ready because you may be leaving the lot with a new unit.
